ASK AWAY SUNSHINE!
The Sunshine Studio Scoop.
Soft Glow Flow is our most beginner-friendly class. It’s a slower-paced, level-one flow focused on basics, breath, and gentle strength so you can build confidence without feeling lost or overwhelmed. It is also a great class for advanced yogis to reset and realign. Sometimes back to the basics can be the most challenging type of practice as it is an assessment of growth and a moment of mindfulness.
Soft Glow Flow – Beginner/reset, gentle pacing, lots of options.
Shine & Align – All levels/ Intermediate flow with more complex sequences, balance and strength work.
Sunburst Flow – Advanced, playful flows with deeper challenges and creative transitions. Modifications are welcomed
Sunbeam Prenatal – Specifically designed for pregnancy with modifications for every trimester.
You can sign up through the Sunshine Studios website. Use the Book Online link on our site to reserve your spot. Classes are available in a variety of packages. We offer an unlimited monthly package, 7 class monthly package, a quarterly 12 class package and a drop in option. Prenatal classes offer different set of class package options. It is best to sign up as a member so that you can book, cancel and reschedule your classes.
We’re located at 272 S Perkins St., Suite 100, Ridgeland, MS 39157. Parking is available at the location, but remains a challenge. We will help direct you where best to park. You can enter the studio through Suite 200 next door at Bloom and Grow.
To be kind to our small studio and other students, we ask that you cancel your spot within our posted window (usually 4–12 hours before class). Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged as a used class or drop-in.
We recommend pre-registering online to reserve your spot since class sizes are intentionally small. If there’s space, we do welcome walk-ins—but online booking is the best way to guarantee a mat. If there are no students enrolled four hours prior to the start time of class, the class will be canceled in an effort to the personal respect time of your yoga instructors.
Classes are led and taught experienced yoga certified instructors. Most of us have trained and practiced together over the past decade and we all have a different eclectic style that blends beautifully. We enjoy and support one another, and we celebrate community. We can't wait to practice with you!
Wear comfy clothes you can move in, bring a water bottle, and, if you have one, your own yoga mat, but we offer mats for your practice. We have blocks, straps, and other props available at the studio. Your teachers will have all the props you need for your practice. Bring curiosity and an open heart.
Please consult your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or have any medical conditions or recent surgeries. Please let us know any restrictions. Classes emphasize safety and can be modified case-by-case. (See our Waiver linked on the site). We ask you to complete a brief intake form when you register that tells us about your health and how we can best support you. It is reviewed by a physician, and we may reach out for further clarification if needed.
Do you offer Spinning Babies® classes? Yes. We integrate Spinning Babies® principles (balanced ligaments/fascia, maternal positioning, and functional movement) into prenatal sessions to help optimize pelvic space and comfort. We also periodically offer Spinning Babies® Parent Classes that teach daily techniques you can use at home.
Classes will typically be held on a Saturday approximately one a month.
Are you certified to teach Spinning Babies®? Yes. Dr. Leigh Campbell is a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator (SpBCPE) and offers parent education consistent with the Spinning Babies® approach. This includes instruction in the Three Balances℠, daily activities, and labor-support positions tailored to your stage of pregnancy.
How does Spinning Babies® fit with your prenatal yoga? They complement each other. Prenatal yoga builds strength, mobility, breath, and nervous-system regulation; Spinning Babies® adds targeted soft-tissue balancing and positioning strategies. Together they can ease common pregnancy discomforts and support labor readiness. (Note: Spinning Babies® is not a medical treatment or guarantee of fetal position; we use it as education alongside evidence-informed movement.)
Can I book a private Spinning Babies® Parent Class? Yes. Private or small-group parent classes are available. We’ll cover daily activities, comfort measures, and labor positions, with modifications for your trimester and any clinical considerations. Contact us to schedule.
